Mike has come a long way from the diamond in the rough that we saw when he first showed up. Although his minutes were limited during the regular season, he came off the bench to energize the team several times. Against an overachieving St. Edwards team in the second round of the District Tournament, although he only wound up with one point, Mike's energy, rebounding and defensive play turned the game for the the Bucs.
In the Final Four, Mike got significant minutes filling
the void left when Jonathan Shapiro went down. We are expecting continued
improvement and progress from Mike in 2001-02.
