The Bucs' leading scorer in 1998-99 with an 18.3 ppg average. A Varsity player as a freshman, Nick enters this season with over 1,000 career points. Aside from his scoring abilities, he averaged 6.3 rebounds per game in 98-99 which was good for 2nd on the team. He was named 1st Team All-County and is considered by many to be a solid college prospect. Nick was named to the Father Lopez Sunshine Classsic All Tournament Team this year. On January 25, 2000, Nick became the first Benjamin Junior to reach the 1000 career points plateau. Nick was also named co-MVP of the 1999-2000 Bucs and was named to the All County First Team for Palm Beach County Small Schools by the Palm Beach Post.
Nick capped his Benjamin career with a 22 point explosion against perennial powerhouse Port St. Joe in the semi-finals, and 16 point performance in the Florida Finals victory over Arlington Country Day, that was good enough to get him named Class 2A Final Four Tournament MVP
Nick has signed a letter of intent to play for NAIA power Spring Hill College. Nick chose Spring Hill over ELON, UNC-Asheville, Rider, Tampa and St. Leo among others. You go Nick!
